Startup Development: From the idea to the business plan (project module)
Overview
In today's dynamic and competitive business world, the ability to transform innovative ideas into successful start-ups is immensely valuable. The project module “Startup Development: From Idea to Business Plan” aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to implement their startup concepts from idea to comprehensive business strategy. The goal of this module is the independent development of a business plan with a focus on the elaboration of a comprehensive marketing concept, which is to be presented at the end of the project module. This business plan should not only contain information about the business idea, the founding team, etc., but also, in particular, concrete statements (based on an empirical study, if applicable) about the market assessment, competitive situation, pricing and revenue model, marketing and communication measures, sales concept, risk analysis, etc.
Target group
The project module is aimed at master's students (including those already in existing teams) who already have their own business idea and would like to develop a concrete business plan, including a marketing concept, under the guidance of the Chair of Business Administration & Marketing. The stage of development of the idea is not important. Students with ideas in the early stages can also participate in the project module and develop them further within its framework.
