Simone Buttler

Simone Buttler holds a master’s degree in Economathematics from the University of Cologne with a focus on graph theory. Her master thesis focused on graph properties of the functionally connected brain under the influence of Alzheimer’s disease. After having completed her master’s degree, she joined a leading global management consultancy and worked primarily in the field of Industrial IoT and digitization.

Her current research focuses on data-driven operations management, aiming at developing new methods for data-driven decision making based on the combination of machine learning with operations management models.
