To apply for a stay abroad via the ERASMUS program or via a partnership program of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, you have to submit the following documents digitally to WueCampus2 (see below). An informational event will be held in advance in November of each year, at which you will be informed in detail about the application process.

  • Application via the course of the student advisory service on WueCampus2 in the period from November to the beginning of January of the following year
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Course transcript with grades (WueStudy printout)
  • Letter of motivation including reasons for choosing the desired university from an academic perspective (i.e. outline of the semester schedule at the foreign university)


Please note that the application for the ERASMUS program must be written in German, while the application for partner universities must be written in English. It should be clear from the application that you have already researched the country and place of study as well as the university of your choice. The application deadline for the entire academic year is the beginning of January each year.

The selection process takes place in February/March of each year. In April you will be informed about the decision of the selection committee. Thereafter, the administrative processing of your upcoming stay abroad will then take place in cooperation with the International Office.
