About us

The Chair of Econometrics offers courses for the specialization Quantitative Economics (Econometrics).
Econometrics means testing hypotheses about economic relationships on the basis of relevant empirical information and by means of suitable methods of mathematical statistics in order to take decisions in economic policy or management on a secure basis.

Lectures in summer term 2022

In the summer semester 2022, the Chair of Econometrics offers the courses Statistics (formerly Fundamentals of Statistics), Computer Lab in Regression Analysis/Applied Econometrics and Practice of Data Analysis for Bachelor students. For Master students the modules Econometrics 1, Econometrics 3 and Financial Market Econometrics are offered.
