City of Würzburg
Würzburg is a middle-sized franconian city with lots of historical sites, including the Residenz (a UNESCO world heritage site in 8 minutes walking distance from the university) and the Festung Marienberg (that you can spot from a lot of places in the city). If you want to taste a glas of the famous local wine in a scenic surrounding, we recommend to join the locals on the Alte Mainbrücke, the cities oldest bridge over the river Main.
