Fabian Taigel, PhD student at the Chair of Logistics and Quantitative Methods, visited the London Business School from April to July 2018.

Fabian Taigel, researcher at the Chair of Logistics and Quantitative Methods, visited the London Business School (LBS) from April to July 2018. Fabian was invited by Prof. Gah-Yi Ban and had the opportunity to work with her and other world-class researchers in the field of operations management and operations research. He attended PhD classes as well as research seminars to enhance his academic qualifications. Fabian presented and discussed his current research with colleagues and peers and started a research project during his stay.

  The Chair of Logistics and Quantitative Methods has a strong international orientation and collaborates with leading researchers around the world. In 2017 Dr. Alexander Rothkopf spent three month at the W.P. Carey School of Business at the Arizona State University to work on a joint research project on procurement strategy for global health care products. In 2016 and 2017 Julian Kurz and Jan Meller visited the Kellogg School of Management in Evanston near Chicago as predoctoral fellow from January to April. Dr. Philipp Ecken spent one semester as a researcher at Harvard Business School. Prof. Richard Pibernik has close ties to the MIT Global Scale Network. He holds a position as Adjunct Professor at the Zaragoza Logistics Center where he teaches in the MIT-Zaragoza Program, and was recently a visiting faculty at the Malaysia Institute of Supply Chain Innovation, one of the nodes of the MIT Global Scale Network.
