08.05.2018

Richard Pibernik was invited as a visiting faculty to the Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (MISI).

In April he spent a week at MISI and taught a course (Supply Chain Information Systems, Integrated Planning and the Organization) to a group of young professionals attending the Master of Science in Supply Chain Management Program at MISI. During his visit, Richard had the opportunity to interact with MISI’s faculty and to discuss future collaborations in research and teaching.

MISI is the fifth node of the MIT Global SCALE Network, an international alliance of leading-edge research and education centers dedicated to the development and dissemination of global innovation in supply chain and logistics.

In 2004 Richard Pibernik joined Zaragoza Logistics Center (the second node of the MIT Global SCALE Network) as a Professor for Supply Chain Management. He continues to be an Adjunct Professor at Zaragoza Logistics Center and teaches within the MIT Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) Program. The MIT Masters in Supply Chain Management Programs were ranked as no. 1 Master’s Program in Logistics worldwide by Eduniversal in 2017.

In 2016 Richard was invited as a keynote speaker to the opening event of the Ningbo Supply Chain Innovation Institute China, the sixth node of the MIT Global SCALE Network (click here for details)
