Technical meeting PRACTICE project

06.11.2015

In preparation for the third (and midway) deliverable for the PRACTICE project the Estonian project partner Cybernetika invited for a technical meeting in Tallinn. The meeting took place in the Original Sokos Hotel Viru Tallinn where, during the Soviet era, the 23rd floor of the hotel housed a KGB radio centre, used to eavesdrop and spy on the hotel guests. This in mind, about 30 participants worked on topics around secure computation in the cloud.

The Chair of Logistics and Quantitative Methods was represented by Julian Kurz and Fabian Taigel. With their work package partners from DTA, Arcelik and SAP they presented the key aspects of their delivery that prepares the implementation of a prototype for a platform for secure supply chain collaboration in the cloud. The task is now to incorporate the feedback and finalize the deliverable that will be presented to reviewers from the European Commission in Brussels in December.
