Information on the course "International Taxation" in the Summer Semester 2023

The module is an excellent opportunity to get to know the basic rules of international tax law on the one hand and to work on real cases independently on the other hand. During the first weeks of the semester you can expect a lecture with theoretical basics and practical insights from the BMF as well as an accompanying exercise. Subsequently, you will work in groups on two case studies that combine theory and practice as well as the view of the tax authorities and taxpayers.

The examination performance consists of a written elaboration of two case studies as well as their presentation. The module is completed with the final presentation already on 08 July 2023 before the actual examination period.

With regard to the module placement, there is the following innovation: Starting with the summer semester 2023, the module can also be taken as a core elective in the subject "Financial Accounting and Business Taxation" and as an elective (elective 4).

Since the number of participants is limited, registration is required. You can register for the course until April 12, 2023. For planning reasons, we ask for early registration.
