Interdisciplinary Winter School: "Digitization and Competition Policy"

Thanks to the great organisation by

• Prof. Dr. Florian Bien (global business law, international arbitration and civil law, University of Würzburg),
• Prof. David Bosco, Ph.D. (Competition Law and European Law, University of Aix-Marseille) and
• Prof. Toker Doganoglu, Ph.D. (Industrial Economics, University of Würzburg),

we were able to experience a rich programme with presentations by international experts - including our former doctoral student Dr. Sebastian Wismer from the German Federal Cartel Office - and current doctoral students on the topic. The event was also accompanied by intensive and enriching exchanges, which further revitalised both the German-French friendship and the cooperation between lawyers and economists.

Julia Reimer, M.Sc., from our department presented her current work on "Innovation Incentives and Platform Imitation".
