Important Information for the Subject "Corporate Finance and Risk Management":

If you specialize in this subject, you need to take the core courses “portfolio and capital markets theory” and "risk management". The latter will not be offered in the next semesters! Instead you can take the course "Efficiently Inefficient Markets" by Prof. Barth as second core course which will be taught every summer term.

If you are admitted to the seminar, an introductory meeting will be held at the beginning of the semester to provide information on the topics and the programme.

 

 

  • Application:
    An overview of grades and a certificate of the registered examination results must be uploaded together with the application via FLIP.
  • Prerequisite:
    Focus on Banking Management or Corporate Finance in the Master's Programme
  • Achievements to be performed:
    Seminar paper (25 pages) und lecture with presentation (20 minutes)

  • Posting of your grade:
    In order to be able to book your grade, it is mandatory that you also register via WueStudy (study planner).

  • Prerequisite:

For the supervision of a Master's thesis, preference is given to students who have specialised in the area of FACT and/or have made in-depth studies in Corporate Finance.

  • Application:

An overview of grades and a certificate of the registered examination results must be uploaded together with the application via the faculty's own online portal FLIP.

For applicants with priority 1 to our chair: Send an informal application with two or three sentences about your motivation for writing at our chair, possible topic suggestions as well as the desired time for processing to l-bwl4@uni-wuerzburg.de within the deadline by e-mail.

  • Registration:

You can only register if you have successfully completed at least 60 ECTS credits.

For students starting their studies in the winter semester 2015/2016  (ASPO 2015):
Application: Please download the current application form  as a pdf file  to complete it.
Processing time: maximum 6 months from the registration date
Submission: The Master's thesis must be submitted  to the Examination Office in triplicate in written form with adhesive binding and in duplicate in electronic form (pdf file) on a data carrier in due time.

If you began your studies before the winter semester 2015/2016 (ASPO 2009):
Application: Please download the current application form as a pdf file to complete it.
