Internship supervision (bachelor)

1. General information, prerequisites

  • The internship can only be credited to bachelor students as part of the key qualifications. The abbreviations in the FSB are: 12-Prak1/12-Prak2/12-Prak3/12-Prak4
  • The organization of an internship is the responsibility of the student.
  • The number of places is limited
  • Prerequisites:
  • Internship position in the field of (digital) marketing or sales.
  • Internships must not have been completed for more than six months by the time the internship report is submitted.

 

2. Performance to be achieved, ECTS points and grading

  • The performance consists of a written internship report and a presentation (approx. 20 minutes; PowerPoint), which is held as part of a block course.
     
  • Scope of the internship report
    At least 4-week internship At least 8-week internship
    • 5 ECTS point
    • 10 pages internship report
    • 10 ECTS points
    • 15 pages internship report
  • In both cases, a grade can be awarded if desired; in this case, 2/3 of the grade is made up of the internship report and 1/3 of the presentation.

 

3. Registration

Interested students should send an e-mail with the following information to Simon Mütze.

  1. Matriculation number, semester and grades
  2. Company and field of activity
  3. Period of the internship
  4. Internship contract or confirmation from the employer that the internship has been completed
  5. Grading desired/not desired

 

4. Notes on the internship report and presentation

  • The report could include the following points:
  • Presentation of the company and/or the branch
  • Presentation of the department
  • Presentation of the activity or project
  • Showing the cooperation with different departments
  • Presentation of the procedure for carrying out various tasks
  • Cross-references to studies/assessment of the usefulness of the content learned so far during studies
  • Elements or content of the internship that are reflected in current research
  • Assessment of the internship/learning success
  • With regard to the external form of the report as well as the slide design and general notes on presentation, please follow our guidelines on the formal design of academic papers.
  • The internship report must be sent digitally by email (= 2 Word versions and 2 PDF versions, one of each needs to be saved anonymously) to Simon Mütze and as CC to digital-marketing@wiwi.uni-wuerzburg.de by the deadline.
  • The internship certificate must be enclosed with the internship report (as a copy) or submitted after completion of the internship.
