COVID-19

HYBRID TEACHING AND LEARNING FORMATS will shape the whole winter semester 2021/21. It means that you will deal with a combination of a wide range of digital teaching and some attendance classes. Most courses will be offered as online courses. Some smaller courses are planned as in-class lectures and will be held in presence under hygine conditions (social distancing - 1,5 meters between the course participants, lists of participants) - this will enable you direct contact with the lecturers.
The combination of online and attendance classes will allow us to offer you the complete range of courses that we teach in both fields business management and economics, while at the same time pursuing the necessary measures to protect the health of students and teachers.

Please make sure you wear a MASK, whenever entering university buidlings - it is obligatory in all common university rooms.

If you cannot travel to Germany, please talk to the exchange coordinator Agata Stopinska about individual solutions (also regarding digital exams).

All exchange students living on campus in Würzburg will have the opportunity to take invigilated exams at the end of the summer semester under strict hygiene regulations at our faculty. The lecturers will make efforts to offer alternative exam forms (coursework assessment, papers/essays or oral exams in digital rooms) to students staying at their home countries but taking our online courses.

Please check our updates  on winter semester 2020/21 and COVID-19 and FAQs of our International Office  regarding the pandemic.

COURSES

Courses offered at the faculty are mostly taught in form of lectures or seminars. As exchange student you may attend both bachelor and master courses. You don´t have to sign up at the faculty for lecture-type courses. However, if you intend to participate in a seminar, you should contact the lecturer early because most seminars have registration deadlines. Should you attend courses that we offer as virtual online-based classes, please sign up for them: https://www.vhb.org/en/students/

Each semester, we ensure that you can sign up for a set of English language courses in any of the following focus areas. Additionally you can find courses offered at other faculties in the Vorlesungsverzeichnis.
