ONLINE TEACHING AND E-LEARNING FORMATS will shape the whole summer semester 2021. It means that you will deal with a wide range of digital teaching classes.
Please make sure you wear a MASK, whenever entering university buidlings - it is obligatory in all common university rooms.
Contact Tracing | QR Code | UniNow App
For the purpose of organizing attendance examinations and maybe later on face-to-face teaching, the university is obliged to record contact details of all students present in lecture rooms in order to trace and interrupt chains of infection transmission. Students are encouraged to use the UniNow app (download at https://uninow.de/) in order to register each time before attending a lecture in university rooms. The app makes it possible for us to provide information enabling tracing chains of infection trasmission in a faster and less complicated way, and to considerably reduce the amount of paper (QR code instead of a printed form).
All exchange students living on campus in Würzburg will have the opportunity to take invigilated exams at the end of the summer semester under strict hygiene regulations at our faculty. The lecturers will make efforts to offer alternative exam forms (coursework assessment, papers/essays or oral exams in digital rooms) to students staying at their home countries but taking our online courses.
Please check our updates on summer semester 2021 and COVID-19 and FAQs of our International Office regarding the pandemic.
Courses offered at the faculty are mostly taught in form of lectures or seminars. As exchange student you may attend both bachelor and master courses. You don´t have to sign up at the faculty for lecture-type courses. However, if you intend to participate in a seminar, you should contact the lecturer early because most seminars have registration deadlines. Should you attend courses that we offer as virtual online-based classes, please sign up for them: https://www.vhb.org/en/students/
Each semester, we ensure that you can sign up for a set of English language courses in any of the following focus areas. Additionally you can find courses offered at other faculties in the Vorlesungsverzeichnis.
